The engine , your Logic Rating

One Logic Rating under the hood (chess-puzzle style / Glicko). Every puzzle has its own difficulty rating; beat one above you → big climb, lose to an easy one → you slip. The system quietly finds your true level and serves puzzles right around it.

Speed & hints modulate, logic decides. Faster and hint-free earns a little more , but reasoning always outweighs clicking, so it never becomes a tapping race.

A short placement at the start (3–5 rising puzzles) drops you near your real level , no dull early grind.
How you earn points
You and each puzzle both carry a rating. Every attempt compares the two:

Solve it → rating up. Beat a puzzle above your level → a big climb; an easy one → a small bump.
↓
Fail it → rating down. Miss an easy one → a big drop; a very hard one → only a little.
Example , you sit at 1180:

Modifiers: each hint shaves your gain; a small speed bonus (capped , logic beats clicking); only your first attempt counts, so no farming.
